Gwen is a first year student who showed interest in the group in an effort to control her abilities. Gwen is part gorgon, due to her family’s bloodline, and has the ability to petrify anyone who catches her gaze or looks directly at her. However, due to the dangerous nature of her ability, Gwen wears a special pair of goggles that prevents her ability from being constantly active. If you see Gwen with her goggles on, you are in no danger.

Gwen can easily be identified by her warmer attire (due to living in the desert) and green hair. Several members have noticed that Gwen’s hair tends to move on its own and even mirrors her reactions. Gwen is capable of turning objects into various substances and can even transform some things with magic. You will typically find her watching people from afar due to her curious nature, so don’t be startled it you suddenly notice her from behind a table or chair.

Note To New Members: PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE GWEN’S GOGGLES!!! If you happen to catch Gwen without her goggles (or you idiotically removed them) you may find yourself starting to petrify. If this happens, don’t panic! You are in no danger, other than losing time like always, but things will seem a little strange. For starters, once you are fully petrified you will not be able to move, but will be aware of what is going on around you. You won’t be able to ‘see’ but you will still be able to ‘hear’ what is going on around you. The effects will wear off over time, so it isn’t permanent. If you stumble across a petrified person, AVOID LOOKING DIRECTLY AT GWEN. Please contact Tia or another medic for assistance.

-In the hallway-
Gwen: -covering eyes- “Tia! Where are you?”
Tia: “Gwen? I’m here, what’s wrong?”
Gwen: “Mira removed my goggles and I accidentally petrified her, come quick!”
-Clubroom-
Gwen: “Here she is, Tia” –uncovers eyes but finds Selena with Mira-
Selena: !? “What the-“ –instantly starts to petrify-
Gwen: “AHH! NO!” –turns around-
Tia: -notices Mira and Selena petrified- “I thought you said only Mira was petrified…”
Gwen: “I didn’t know Selena was here too!”
